Karnataka Industrial Jobs Portal: Bridging the Gap Between Industry and Talent
The Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Karnataka, is launching a user-friendly, first-of-its-kind digital platform to connect Karnataka’s youth and Kannadigas with employment opportunities across the state.
The Karnataka Jobs Portal aims to bridge the information gap between industry and job seekers, making job opportunities more accessible to Kannadigas while helping industries find the right talent.
Industry Participation and Job Listings
All manufacturing and Research & Development (R&D) units, having taken benefits from the government and/or operating on land allotted by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) will be required to publish their vacancies on the portal, alongside their existing recruitment channels. IT companies, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), independent industries, corporates, and other employers are encouraged to participate.
Aligning Skills with Industry Needs
Companies can share anticipated hiring requirements, emerging job roles, and the skills and qualifications they seek. This will help job seekers prepare for future opportunities and enable educational institutions to align their courses and skill-development programmes with evolving industry needs.

By connecting employers, job seekers, and educational institutions on a common platform, the initiative aims to strengthen access to employment, develop an industry-ready workforce, and ensure that Karnataka’s industrial growth translates into meaningful job opportunities for Kannadigas across the state.
